It is difficult to jump into a conversation about depression, anxiety and isolation after an organ transplant. Mental health and a positive outlook are just as important as physical healing. Join us as Beverly Hansen, manager of Transplant Social Work at Mayo, leads us in a candid exploration of the psycho-social aspects of transplant recovery. As a passionate advocate for organ donation, she was drawn to become a living kidney donor herself. She is an amazing resource for transplant recipients, caregivers and families as they navigate their “new normal” and adjust to life after transplant.
